The New Blue Do

My son, and his new cotton candy do.
I think it’s rad.

  1. I think the Blue do is rad too!
    And so are you!
    and your crew
    helping people
    start anew!

HAhaa! Oh no. I probably didn’t write that correctly as a proper poem, but I really had the urge to rhyme 😛

    Love the picture 🙂

    • You know, I could have used you 8 years ago when I was writing my children’s book. I’m going to try to recall (by memory) the first poem in it, and I think you can appreciate it. 🙂 (I’m not making any promises that Ambien didn’t influence my writing at the time.) Ok. Here goes. (Rustling around through the mental inventory…)

      [taps microphone- clears throat…]

      “Funny Spaghetti”

      “There’s something funny going on
Here in my spaghetti,” said Rhonda.
      It’s slithering and crawling
      (By now she was bawling)
      “I think it’s an anaconda!”

She pushed and pulled and swirled and twirled
And slurped at the strange sound of hissing
      But when she was done
      The anaconda had won
And poor little Rhonda was missing.

      *****************************

[Accompanied by intentional chicken-scratch drawing of little Rhonda, cowering away from her anaconda-spaghetti.]
