For the life of me, I don’t know why these kids nowadays love my hair. But everywhere I go, there they are: “OMG, I love your hair.”
Me: “Huh?”
I tell them that all they have to do is wait 30 years and they can have cool (natural) highlights too…(and yep, my hair is legit that purple).

I love the purple, and I love your roots! I know, I know, just like everyone says! It’s funny to me, because I am sporting the reverse: dark gray natural highlights and the rest is blonde, and everyone says it looks amazing, while in reality I just cannot find the time to visit the hairdresser and get it all sorted out 😀

I love it! Definitely my soul sister…haha. Isn’t it funny how we worry about things in our nervous younger years, and when we’re older, it’s like, “I’ve earned these greys/whites!” 😁 I’ve been to a hairdresser twice in my life (um, one time I tipped her with Xanax…); always cut & coloured my own hair- I’m just feeling a streak of good old fashioned rebellion! At the same time; heavy black is calling to me, so I’m sort of straddling the fence on this one. It’s really awesome that you’re sporting those natural greys, man. I’m totally into this “embrace the grey/white” movement, and we’re part of that, any ole way ya slice it. 😉

Know exactly what you mean! I have been ‘called by’ darker hair for quite a while now, but am staying blonde because, as I thought, other colours stick to it better. It does bother me that everytime I do end up at the hairdresser, I get something nice, but ultimately not what i asked for, like me wanting blue hair and getting it baby blue because ‘ bright colours go well with my face’, which I totally get, but maaaan, can we please have it dark? Same happened when I asked for purple, just like you have now. I got lilac! It was amazing, but it was not the purple I asked for, you dig? It is starting to feel like a conspiracy to just not let me have darker coloured hair whatsoever!

😅😅😅 Gonna have to go jet black for you soon. 😁 I feel you, totally! My hair has been like a mulberry purple for years but I found PURPLE purple (Amazon carries it) and was like, SO THERE. It’s a unique shade for sure, and so there’s the shockingly purple hair, the shocking solid white hair, and my tips are black, naturally! I’ve always tried to colour them purple as well but they wanted nothing to do with it and stayed black, always. (It’s definitely an interesting tri-coloured look.) I have a spare box of jet black though, and I might get a bit streaky later. (Jet black highlights. 😁)
