  1. It’s amazing what you get out of your phone, do you use a photo app for the final work?

    • Hey! My process is almost never the same. Bring a traditional DSLR photographer (who’s used to shooting in all manual, coupled with vintage film lenses such as the Helios, Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon, Supertak, etc.- by way of an M42 adapter (which marries digital/DSLR with film), it’s important for me to use similar techniques with my iPhone. For example, when shooting the original pic; I use an HD camera app which allows me to adjust the exposure manually before shooting the pic, as well as shoot in monochrome/B & W. Afterwards, I use a combination of photo app editors, such as Lightroom, Focos, Carbon (purely for black and white pics/editing), Pixelup- which is an excellent pixel cleaner, and several others, for every pic singularly. I usually use no less than 3 editing apps for each pic; manually mastering all of my hues, gamma, tones, highlights, blacks, whites, shadows, contrast- as well as all of the channels of colour within each colour (when shooting in colour).) It can be a laborious process, but it’s pure fun when you love photography as much as I do. Thanks for checking it out. 😉
