This One’s for You, Kid
So I usually dedicate a pic here and there to people who inspire me in my life. Lately, I’ve been biased and have been dedicating them to my buddy, Y, because she’s just so darn special. But I want to show my appreciate to another gal who is one of the funniest, sweetest, and smartest people I’ve ever known. I came across her blog some time back and swore i was reading an SNL skit. She goes by the name Lucky Wreck, but I call her Amy sometimes. ;0)
Anyway Amy, this one’s for you, kid! When I’m inspired by someone, my work takes on various forms that aren’t always indicative of my style. (Usually, I’m dark and gothicy- ish, so this is really different for me, but it does remind me of you.) If you’d like a full rez. copy for printing, hook me up with your email address and I’ll send it to you. This one’s on the house. 😉

Wow. I’m not sure if I am PMS-ey or not, but I had to fight back tears…the bawling kind when I saw this. I know I have so much more to say, but I best collect myself 😛 A regular thank you doesn’t feel like enough, but I do have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This picture is gorgeous and I LOVE IT!!!! XOXO

Absolutely not! I do appreciate it though. ;0) You know, lots of people give blog awards to people who inspire them, etc. and I’ve been offered them many times but I just don’t have time for all of that it seems like, you know? And I know it comes across as crass maybe, but those things are really detailed and time consuming! I’ve wanted to do similar things for others but again, it just seems like it takes so much time. So, what I do instead is either write songs and dedicate those to people who inspire me the most or I’ll go out and grab a fresh shot to let them know that I’m thinking of them. That’s why I could never accept $ from you for this, because it’s a GIFT. And, all I can say is thanks so much, Amy. You continue to inspire me in so many ways. So glad you like your tree. :0)
