Early Morning Sunshine
The smile. (Sort of.) Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon film lens-35/2.4- selfie
I have no flaming idea how I’ve adopted (an all-natural) trout pout, but by George, there it is.

Aww, thanks, Y! I took it yesterday morning- fresh out of bed, because (and this is going to sound batshit crazy- but so be it, eh?) I have to regularly take shots of myself and see how much life is (or isn’t) in my eyes. (True.) It’s a confessional mirror- the camera. (But I know you know this already. ;0) I can lie to myself all I want, but that camera- it’s a truth-teller!
I was pleasantly surprised to see a good bit of life staring back at me- and even a freaking (sort of) smile! 🙂 heheh…

Yep. Wake up. Look in mirror. Ask self, “Self, have you any life in there?” If I see one eye shining- I’m pretty dang happy. If I see two- blessed beyond measure. 😉
