Man Trouble

How a single girl like me (who doesn’t even have a Facebook- or a boyfriend) has man trouble is beyond me- but honey, I got ’em!

And I ain’t complaining. 🙂

Too much time alone isn’t good for the soul.

And on that note, today’s catch:
Is it just me, or is there an Indian’s face in those trees?

  1. I’m not seeing an Indian face, but that second picture is pretty freaking awesome!

    • Hey, thanks Cari. :0) Glad you like it. I saw the coiled up thingy and knew if I just nailed the composition, then others might see the potential that I did. (If you look at the first pic- it looks like there’s either an Indian’s face or an old lady right around the focal point/sharp area in the middle.) I didn’t see it at first and then it popped right out at me. Thanks for stopping by. ;0)

      • I showed my hubby the pictures – he nailed the Indian head immediately. Possibly, my creative interpretation is lacking because I have been so freaking swamped with work, planning my first born’s high school graduation party, opening the pool, building the chicken habitat, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Not to be discouraged! I await more of your beautiful photography!

      • Haa..that’s funny that your husband saw it right away. And WOW- your life sounds like my semesters in college! I know the feeling well. (It’s good to be busy though.)

        May 14, 2015 at 9:46 pm

      • Good to be busy, but ready for a break. Preferably on a beach. 🙂

        May 15, 2015 at 2:13 pm

      • graduation. Are you done studying?

        May 15, 2015 at 2:15 pm

      • Actually, I have two semesters to go still. UGH. But then I begin working on my Master’s in Forensic Psychology. It’ll probably never end…heheh. I do have the summer off though (and am already bored stiff!) 🙂

        May 15, 2015 at 2:17 pm

      • I am so impressed. I think the boy trouble or lack of it is helping you concentrate. What do you think you will do after graduation? Case Management? You will be much needed in Oakland, Ca 🙂

        May 15, 2015 at 2:21 pm

      • My (boy) trouble is that I have two X husbands who are eyeballing me- and my 18 year (younger) X who’s eager to go out and “start his life”- ugh. I’m currently watching “Hard Time” for a suitable man. They can’t run away! Haha…

        May 15, 2015 at 2:39 pm

      • Ha ha ha. You are one heck of a hectic woman!

        May 15, 2015 at 2:49 pm

      • I can’t disagree….heheh.

  5. I must be in too literal a frame of mind. I see tree bark. 🙂 May your man troubles be soon a thing of the past. If that’s what you want, that is! heh heh

Well I can see the indian woman, lol! Awesome pictures! Love them all, well you talented!

    May 15, 2015 at 12:15 pm

    • Hey, thanks! 🙂 Yeah, the Indian/old lady kind of jumped out at me right away. (Funny…)

Possibly a criptid – “A Man-Trouble barking in the woods”, sort of like the Marvel Comics Man-Thing. Actually, what I saw was a tiny side view of a figure that was a cross between an Easter Island Man-o-lith and an Arthur Rackham faerie . We project our inner reality upon the world. 😀

If you rotate the second image the coiled up thingy becomes a stylized question mark. 🙂

    All wonderful compositions.

As to man troubles, light a scented candle. It won’t help, but it will smell better. 😀

    May 16, 2015 at 7:51 pm

    • Ok, your last sentence made me laugh out loud! Haa,,,,too funny. (And on that note, I recently saw “man candles”. Interesting stuff. :0) And yes, I see the Easter Island figurehead too!

  8. Woah, I do see something primordial in the tree. It definitely looks more like a face than anything else. I’m not sure about the ethnicity of the person, but it reminds me of the people you see in history textbooks when they’re explaining how early settlers lived.

Good luck with the man troubles. Just be yourself and stay brilliant. 🙂

    May 17, 2015 at 11:55 am

    • Thanks, Millie. :0) (Yeah, ditto on what you said about ethnicity. it has an ancient look to it thought I think.) Thanks for stopping by, as always!

  9. Hey! Got the B.S. degree yet?

    May 21, 2015 at 3:38 am

    • Hi! :0) Nope. I still have two (very long) semesters remaining. But I’m getting there…

      May 21, 2015 at 4:33 am

      • I see. All the best with these semesters. 🙂

        May 21, 2015 at 9:09 am

      • Thanks. 🙂
